Christmas is not the same for everyone, it is a Christian holiday that celebrates the Nativity, the birth of Jesus. In Bali, two different religions are practiced, Hinduism and Islam.
There's a healthy and peaceful coexistence that we've always appreciated and admired, ever since our first steps in that distant land. It was 2015, and it was Christmas time. Coccoon hadn't yet been born, but the Loliettoo project had already been bubbling away for months with ambitious and sustainable plans.
We were there for this, to start building something unique and precious.
We, who love diversity and are committed to respecting and enhancing it, smiled in front of the fruit tree festively decorated by the local farming community with which our collaboration for the direct production of pure coconut oil—Coccoon coconut oil—was born.
Every year, just before Christmas Eve, at our small production site, which we protect and support with all our resources, that same tree is decorated with colorful balls, hearts, butterflies, and stars. Because being festive is in the soul of the Balinese people, welcoming and smiling even during a pandemic that has brought about a serious economic, social, and health crisis .
We, who would like Christmas, in its different conception, to be experienced with dignity by as many people as possible, have offered our support to local families with a surprise donation .
Bringing a smile to someone's face is the most beautiful thing you can do . Every day of the year, not just at Christmas...
If you're interested in making a donation, please contact us directly. 20 euros is enough to provide rice for a family of three for a month.
Thanks for your support and word of mouth!
Happy holidays to you and your loved ones!
[If you think the Coccoon line could also be part of your daily routine, you can purchase it here ].
